Kyrie Irving expected to miss up to 6 weeks after having knee surgery

The Boston Celtics stated that Kyrie Irving had surgery to remove a tension wire in his left knee early Saturday. It could be up to 6 weeks before he returns to the court.  It is highly possible that he will be out for the first round of the playoffs. After he recovers from his surgery, his knee should be fully healed as the tension wire helped him in his recovery.
